Event Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 14 June 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your attendance at and participation in any event hosted by Point One Navigation, Inc. (“Point One,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing a ticket for, attending, or accessing any Point One Event, you agree to these Terms, as well as Point One’s Privacy Policy, which is expressly incorporated by reference.

These Terms apply to all Point One events, including in-person, virtual, or hybrid experiences. Point One reserves the right to revoke your ticket or terminate your access to the Event if we believe, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or any incorporated policies.

Arbitration Notice
These terms require that any claims by either you or Point One must be submitted to binding and final arbitration on an individual basis only, and not as part of a class, representative, or consolidated action.

Registration
All attendees must be properly registered to attend the Event. Sharing or transferring a registration without Point One’s prior approval is a violation of these Terms.

By attending, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction on the first day of the Event. Government-issued photo identification may be required at the Event. Point One reserves the right to verify the identity of any attendee and may refuse entry to, or remove from the Event, any person unable to provide proof of registration or identification.

Refund Policy
Except as expressly stated on the Event’s official registration page, all fees are non‑refundable and non‑cancelable. Any refunds will be issued only for the ticket price actually received by Point One and will exclude third‑party processing or platform fees, unless required by applicable law.

Attendee Information
To operate and administer the Event, Point One may process personal information you provide (such as your name, contact details, and company) and may share limited attendee information (for example, name and business email) with venue operators, security providers, hotel partners, sponsors, or other Event partners for legitimate business purposes related to the Event, such as access control, safety, logistics, or Event communications, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may also send you Event‑related and Point One marketing communications, which you can opt out of as described in our Privacy Policy.

Event Content and Presenters
All materials and services provided in connection with the Event are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.

The Event may include opinions, advice, statements, or content from speakers, sponsors, presenters, or attendees. Point One does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any such content. Any reliance on information presented at the Event is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Point One disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement with respect to the Event and any related content.

Notice of Photography and Recording
The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. By attending or accessing the Event, you consent to Point One and its authorized partners capturing and using your name, voice, image, likeness, and biographical information in photographs, audio, and video recordings.

Point One may use these materials for marketing, promotional, educational, or archival purposes, including on websites, social media, and third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Instagram, X, or LinkedIn), without further notice or compensation.

You waive any right to inspect or approve such materials and release Point One from any claims arising from their use, including claims related to privacy, publicity, or defamation.

You may not sell or commercially distribute photographs or recordings taken at the Event without Point One’s prior written consent.

Code of Conduct
Point One is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and harassment-free experience for all participants, regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, religion, or any other protected characteristic. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Point One reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether conduct constitutes harassment or otherwise violates this Code of Conduct or the Event’s policies. Any participant who engages in harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behavior may be removed from the Event immediately and without refund, at Point One’s discretion.

Trademarks
In no event may any Point One names, trademarks, service marks, logos, or Event branding be used in advertising, publicity, or promotional materials without Point One’s prior written permission.

Force Majeure
Point One will not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures to perform resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, government actions, labor disputes, public health emergencies, or venue issues. Point One will use commercially reasonable efforts to mitigate such impacts.

In the event of a delay, rescheduling, or material change in format (for example, from in‑person to virtual) due to a force majeure event, Point One’s sole obligation, and your sole remedy, will be for Point One, in its discretion, to (a) provide you with access to a rescheduled or replacement Event, or (b) offer a credit or refund in accordance with the applicable refund policy.

Disclaimer of Liability & Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, release, and hold harmless Point One; the Event venue and operators; Event sponsors; service providers; and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and agents (collectively, the “Event Providers”) from any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your attendance at or participation in the Event

  • Your violation of these Terms or any incorporated policy

  • Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights

  • Any act, omission, negligence, or misconduct by you or your guests

  • This obligation survives the Event and termination of these Terms.

In no event will the Event Providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Event or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of the Event Providers for all claims arising out of or related to the Event or these Terms will not exceed the amount of fees you paid (if any) to attend the Event. These limitations do not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating strictly to this Event Registration Agreement or your participation in the Event shall be settled by binding arbitration in San Francisco, California. The arbitration shall be administered by JAMS pursuant to its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. In accordance with California Civil Code Section 1670.5, this agreement to arbitrate is limited to claims arising out of the services and transactions provided under this specific Agreement. The parties agree that any arbitration shall be conducted solely in their individual capacities and not as a class, collective, representative, or consolidated action, and the arbitrator shall have no authority to conduct any such proceedings. Point One shall pay all costs unique to arbitration, including the arbitrator’s fees and forum costs. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees unless otherwise provided by statute. BY AGREEING TO ARBITRATION, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE WAIVING YOUR RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.

Governing Law & Venue
This Agreement, and any disputes arising out of or related hereto, will be governed exclusively by the internal laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflicts of laws rules. Subject to the arbitration requirements above, the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction over (a) any action to compel or enforce arbitration, (b) any permitted small claims action, and (c) any action seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief, and you and Point One consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts for such purposes.

Event Access & Enforcement
Point One may terminate your access to the Event at any time for violations of these Terms or related policies. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Changes to These Terms
Point One may update these Terms at any time. Continued attendance or access to the Event constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
